Kumasi Asante Kotoko bounced back to winning ways in Week 6 of the Ghana Premier League when they made a trip to Dawu to play Dreams FC.
It was the Porcupine Warriors’ first game after the sacking of former head coach Maxwell Konadu. Interim head coach Johnson Smith led them for the fixture.
Johnson Smith made key changes to the side that lost to Great Olympics. He gave newly signed goalkeeper Razak Abalora his debut and replaced Abdul Ganiyu with Wahab Adams in central defence.
Asante Kotoko scored the first and only goal through left back Imoro Ibrahim on the 20 minutes. The former Karela United star sent a shot from a long distance to score.

Razak Abalora made some decent saves to help the Porcupine Warriors get their first away win of the season.
Elmina Sharks continued their good form at the Nduom Sports Stadium where they hosted Inter Allies.
Benjamin Tweneboah scored from the spot to ensure they maintain their unbeaten run at home this season.

Accra Great Olympics recorded their second straight win at the Accra Sports Stadium when they hosted WAFA.
In-form Gladson Awako scored for the Wonder Boys and despite being reduced to 10 men, they held on to the lead.

Samed Ibrahim scored late to cancel Salifu Ibrahim’s lead.

Salifu Ibrahim won his 4th MOTM of the season – the most by a player this season.
Medeama Sporting Club once again bottled it at home following an away win at Cape Coast against Dwarfs.
