Asante Kotoko placed their title hopes on thin ice after taking just a point from King Faisal at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

King Faisal got ahead via a goal from Ibrahim Zubairu but Francis Andy Kumi levelled matters late in the game.

The Insha Allah boys started well and unsurprisingly took the lead inside 15 minutes, with Ibrahim Zubairu getting the goal for the visitors.

They were able to hold on for most of the game but Andy Kumi got past the defense and slotted one in to even the score late in the game.

Kotoko (57) are now two points behind Hearts who will have the chance to extend their lead to five points on Sunday as they take on Ebusua Dwarfs.

The Phobians will be crowned champions if they win on Sunday and draw their penultimate match against Liberty Professionals.
