GMB2017: Edem leads with popular votes as eviction approaches

Edem picked two awards at last Sunday’s performance[/caption] Volta Region representative at the 2017 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant, Edem, is leading her peers in the competition with the most popular votes after three weeks of performances. Of the total 99,112 votes cast as at the end of Sunday, September 10, Edem had garnered 13,774 votes followed by Baaba (Central Region) with a total of 11,970 votes while Numbu (Upper West) came third with 11,678 votes.

Northern Region’s rep, Zeinab, is at the fourth position with 11,217 votes followed by Ashanti Region’s Yaa with 10,823. Talata from Upper East came sixth with 10,556 and Nana from Western Region seventh with 9,755 votes. [caption id="attachment_61387" align="aligncenter" width="1533"] The graph showing the public votes garnered by each of the 10 contestants as at 10/09/17[/caption] Serwaa from the Eastern Region garnered 7,216 to take the eight place while Ayeley from the Greater Accra Region secured 6,298 votes pick the ninth position while Adom from the Brong Ahafo Region is at the bottom with 5,825.Aside the 40 per cent vote of the public through texting, judges will have 60 per cent of the votes which will be based on the performances of the ladies while in the competition. Votes of the public and the judges will be put together to determine who stays in the competition for the next 10 weeks as eviction starts from next Sunday.
