Maali from the Upper West Region was on Sunday, August 16 awarded the Star Performer of the Night after she performed as a tourist from India, who had visited the Wenchiau Hippo Sanctuary, in the Ghana’s Most Beautiful reality show.
The contest for the crown began on the night with the remaining 11 contestants as they gave out their best to avoid eviction.
The stakes were high but the ladies had no option than to live up to expectation and make their respective regions proud.
They seized every moment on stage to enlighten viewers on the various tourist sites, urging them to pay a visit.
Contestants mounted the stage to engage the audience and viewers alike, exhibiting various characters.
Posing as a slave, Central Region’s Afriyie set the tone for the night’s performances.
Asaa from the Bono East Region then stepped on the stage.
But the pride of the Upper West Region, Maali ruled, winning the hearts of the judges with her act.
Zuzu representing the Northern Region took the Most Innovative Award.
At the end of the various performances, music duo Keche thrilled the studio audience with performance.
