The stars did not shine for Tewa as she had to be the final contestant to be evicted from this year’s competition as the Grand Finale is set for December 9, 2018.
Tewa could not make it to the finals as her votes did not favour her against the remaining contestants headed for the Finale to be held at the National Theatre.
The night saw performances from all five contestants on love, relationships and their kind of men.
They took turns to outline qualities they desire in a man.
Tewa from the Central Region came in as an advisor to a pregnant friend contemplating an abortion because she is being forced to marry the man who got her pregnant, a decision she is not happy with.
In advising her friend, Tewa cautioned her against abortion while urging her to be circumspect in looking out for good qualities in a man before entering into a relationship with him to avoid hooking up with men who will put her in the family way.
Despite her good performance on the night, her votes gave up on her, causing her eviction.
Asked the way forward for her in terms of her project, Tewa told co-host Johnnie Hughes that she would still pursue the project despite the fact that she did not make it to the finals.
She noted that the GMB platform has given her an opportunity, and she would capitalize on that to get her project running.
Over the past ten weeks, Tewa has thrilled studio audience and viewers at home to education about her home region, amidst some entertainment and comedy.
Throughout the competition, she got an award to her credit as Most Eloquent contestant.
As a result of her evicton, this year’s GMB competition will be vied for by Brong Ahafo Region’s Ohema, Ashanti Region’s Afrah, Eastern Region’s Abena and Upper East Region’s Wekia.
