Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori is on the verge of joining South Africa giants Orlando Pirates, according to several reports.
Ofori who has been first choice for the Black Star s for two years now would make the switch from another Premier Soccer League side Maritzburg United.
Well connected African football expert Nuhu Adams says the deal is far advanced and “90% through.”
If it goes through, he would become the second Ghana goalkeeper to play for the Johannesburg side after Fatau Dauda’s stint at the club.
The 27-year old kept eleven clean sheets for Maritzburg in 28 appearances and is highly rated in one of the most competitive leagues on the continent.
