[Photos] GMB2018: BA's Ohema bags two awards as contestants dazzle in maiden show

Contestants of this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant brought their A-game last Sunday when they took to the runway to catwalk and showcase beautiful designs made from GTP fabrics. The maiden show of the 12^th edition of reality show kicked off with choreography from all ten contestants amidst cheers from studio audience. This was followed by the main fashion show of the night with the girls showcasing varied outfits from their respective designers, ranging from sport wears through to evening gowns. Eastern Region’s Abena led the charge walking down the runway sportily dressed as a track athlete. The rest of the ladies took turns to also showcase their sport attires posing as footballers, golfers, and tennis players amongst other sporting athletes. Abena again led the casual wear session which saw the ladies clad in beautifully designed GTP fabrics. One after the other, they took turns to catwalk in their beautifully hewn casual wears. Then came the evening gown session allowing the girls to showcase what they looked like for a dinner event. At the end of the night, Ohema representing the Brong Ahafo Region was awarded with the Best Casual Wear and Evening Wear title. Eastern Region’s Abena was also adjudged Star Model of the night. Judges for the night Linda Ampah and Bernie Archer as well as guest judge Rebecca Donkor praised the ladies for their performance. This year’s GMB under the catchphrase ‘This is the Life’ has started off with lots of excitement and promises more fan throughout the competition.
