Ghana’s Most Beautiful Central Region’s representative, Aseidua, won the Best Costume of the night dressed in the ancient ceremonial gear as she highlighted the Savannah region.
Acting as the head of the traditional group mandated to enskin chiefs in the Savannah Region, Aseidua took the judges and the audience through the rich culture of passing on the command of authority to the next paramount chief of Gonja, Yagbongwura.

Aseidua came prepared and dressed as she explained the symbolic meaning of the enskinned chief’s mat and white cloth draped over his shoulders. She also clarified the five households from which a new Yagbongwura may be chosen.

Looking extremely ancestral and picturesque, Aseidua was dressed in a befitting smock with a magnificent neckpiece. She also went the extra to look the part with a full beard, alarming but very effective.
