2022 GMB Top 5: Remembering Aiko’s Journey

Setting the pace and making history are two distinct ways to describe the 2-time-double-award-winner, Glory Efua Aiko Adade from the Oti Region. 

Aiko has six awards making her the contestant with the highest number of awards in the GMB competition this year.

She won her first award, the Best Costumed award, on ‘Melodies of our Land’ night. This was followed by two awards, Star performer and Most Eloquent, on the same night, Women in Entrepreneur night.

Aiko secured another double feat when she took Star Performer and Most Eloquent on Culture Flipping night. With her last award on the last eviction night as Star Performer.

Subsequently, Aiko booked a spot among the 5 finalists to compete for the crown on the final day.
