Ghanaian long jumper Deborah Acquah has shattered a long standing national record today at the Texas A&M Track and Field/Cross Country.
The 25-year old long jumper smashed the national record which was set by 6.81m (+1.6).
The record was set by Ruky Abdulai in 2007.
She is now ranked to 8th in the world and 1st on the Africa.
She won silver for Ghana in the women’s long jump at the 2019 African Games in Rabat, Morocco.
