Ghana to play African champions Algeria in pre-Afcon friendly today

Ghana will play reigning African champions Algeria in a friendly match on Wednesday evening in Doha, Qatar.

The match forms part of the Black Stars preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The match will be played at Education City Stadium with kick off at 4 pm local time.

Black Stars’ pre-Afcon training plan included three friendly games, however, due to unknown reasons, the team will play only one game.

Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew and others who arrived in camp on Monday are expected to feature in today’s game.

Black Stars will depart on January 7 for Yaoundé where they will play Morocco and Gabon before moving to Garoua for the final Group C game against debutants Comoros.
