Ghana to participate in the 2022 Africa Athletics Championship

Ghana Athletics has confirmed that they will compete in the upcoming 2022 Africa Athletics Championship in Mauritius.

The competition will take place from June 8 to June 12, and Ghana will be represented by four athletes.

Team Ghana will be led by 200m national record holder Joseph Paul Amoah, who will be joined on the flight to the Indian Ocean Island by Sean Safo-Antwi (100m), Rose Yeboah (High Jump), and Duncan Agyemang (400m).

Benjamin Azamati, the 100m national record holder, will not compete because he has committed to the NCAA D2 Championships, which are scheduled for the same weekend.

Former national athlete Leo Myles-Mills will coach the team.
