Ghana Theatre Festival begins

Drama, music, fashion and film shows are set to dominate this year’s Ghana Theatre Festival. The Festival is expected to showcase Ghanaian theatrical performances. This year’s event is part of the yearlong activities to mark National Theatre’s 25th anniversary. It brings on board refreshing packages like the all-week food bazaar and art exhibition and a four-day fashion exhibition. There’s a package for every family out there at this year’s festival and there would be a good treat at the end of September at the theatre. From 10:00am to 10:00pm, the National Theatre will be brought alive with a number of productions starting with Ananse in the Land of Idiots and dance drama Lantaaba on Tuesday. Activities will be brought to an end on Sunday with three productions namely The Marriage of Anansewaa, Concert Party and The Barber and The Apprentice by Village Minds. Source:|Ghana]]>
