Ghana remembers late Prez Mills; memorial lectures comes off today

The third Atta Mills Memorial Lecturers, instituted in the memory of Ghana’s Ex Late President John Evans Atta Mills, is set for Tuesday, July 21.

Former Governor of Ekiti State in Nigeria, is expected to grace lectures to be held in Accra.

A statement issued earlier said there will be no wreath laying ceremony on Friday, July 24th, 2015, which marks three years of the demise of the late President.

However, the Asomdwee Park, named after the Ex-President in recognition for his peaceful nature, will be open to the public on that day.

“Under the Auspices of, The John Evans Atta Mills Center For Law And Governance (GIMPA), and The John Evans Atta Mills Memorial Library (University of Cape Coast), the 3rd in the series of the Atta Mills Memorial Lecture comes off on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

Theme: Role of Intellectuals in African Politics and Governance
