Ghana Premier League preview: Week 22

The Ghana premier league will continue with fascinating mid-week action. There are three big games in the city of Accra and the other five at the various centers across the country. After WAFA and Ashanti Gold missed out in an exciting match day 21, both clubs return on match day 22 to complete an exhilarating round of games. At the Accra sports stadium, hearts of Oak will welcome Berekum Chelsea. The Phobians have lost back to back games for the first time this season and will be looking forward to bounce back from a poor form in their last two games. Chelsea have never recorded a win against Hearts at the Accra sports Stadium (D2, L4). Inter Allies have won two of their last 5 games (W2, L1, D2), and have not conceded in 450 minutes at home in their last five games. An in-form Kumasi Asante Kotoko will visit them at the EL Wak Sports Stadium after  they  recorded three straight wins for the second time this season. The Dansoman Park will see Liberty Professionals and Elmina Sharks lock horns. The home side lost their away game to Aduana last Sunday but are poised to win all three points this time. Elmina Sharks on the other hand have picked just 6 points from a possible 15 in their last five outings. Medeama invite Tema Youth at the Tarkwa T/A Park. The visitors currently lie 11th on the league log with 25 points and have recorded 2 wins in their last 5 meetings (L2, D1) against the home side. Wa All Stars are on a horrific form after winning just one of their last eight games (W1, L5, and D2). They face Aduana Stars who lies second on the league table. Ebusua Dwarfs are looking to make it back to back wins for the 1st time this season when they face Great Olympics at the Cape Coast Stadium. Both teams recorded wins in their last games. League leaders WAFA returns after missing out last weekend. They sit home at the WAFA Park to welcome Bechem United who currently lies 7th after a victory over Hearts of Oak. WAFA are unbeaten in their home games this season (W8, D2, and L0). In form Ashanti Gold will travel to WA to face Bolga All Stars. The home team is in shambles after winning just once in their last twelve games (W1, D4, and L7).
