Matchday 4 of the Ghana Premier League kicks off on Wednesday after a blockbuster weekend.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season. The Porcupine Warriors suffered a 1-0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in a match marred by violence last Sunday. However, Kotoko will not have it easy in their next game as they face unbeaten Medeama SC. Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has told his players to move on after their defeat to Berekum Chelsea.

“I accept the fact that we have lost the game. I would not blame it on anybody. We came in to do our best but our best was not good enough. I have told the players to move on,” the former local Black Stars coach said.
Stored safely in the closet of Medeama is super substitute Kofi Babil, who has gone on to score a goal anytime he comes off the bench.
Dating back to 2014, the two teams have met 10 times with both sides winning three times each and sharing the points on four occasions. A win for Kotoko will put them above Medeama on the league table.
Accra Hearts of Oak seem to have redeemed themselves after suffering humiliating defeats to Berekum Chelsea and Medeama. The Phobians beat Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs on home soil to claim their first three points of the season. Gathering momentum from their victory, Hearts of Oak may put their all in the game against WAFA who also remain unbeaten. This fixture promises to be enticing.
Ashanti Gold, on the other hand, are yet to lose a match this season. The ‘Aboakese’ boys have scored six goals so far and as they face Legon Cities on Wednesday, one may be tempted to say it will be an easy victory for The Miners. Legon Cities have caught the eye of many but have failed to live up to the hype. The club is yet to win a game this season. The Accra club must win the game in order to avoid relegation.
The season’s leading scorer, Yahaya Mohammed, will prove his prowess when his side, Aduana Stars, face Eleven Wonders. The striker has scored five goals so far. Eleven Wonders and Accra Great Olympics are the only sides left in the league yet to score a goal.
Below are the fixtures for Matchday 4:
Eleven Wonders V Aduana All Stars
Ebusua Dwarfs V Liberty Proffesionals
Medeama SC V Kotoko
Inter Allies V Elmina Sharks
WAFA V Accra Hearts of Oak
King Faisal V Bechem United
