Left winger Kouame Jean Fiacre Botue opened the scoring for Burkina Faso as early as the 18th minute.
Ghana responded to the early goal by the Burkinabe by creating great goalscoring opportunities.
Captain Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored to give Ghana the equalizer just before the first half. He shot home from a Precious Boah cross.
The Black Satellites were awarded a penalty on the eve of the game and Precious Boah stepped up to convert beautifully from the spot to hand Ghana the win.
Ghana’s U-20 becomes the second team to win the WAFU U-20 Zone B tournament since it was introduced in 2018.
