kURThe Ghana Football Association (GFA) has received 900,000 dollars from the FIFA Normalisation Committee.
The amount, paid into the GFA account on November 27, 2019, was proceeds from the arbitration settlement by Globacom Ghana.
Globacom Ghana paid an amount of one million dollars to the Normalisation Committee as arbitration settlement for the unilateral abrogation of a sponsorship contract between the GFA and Globacom Ghana.
According to a statement issued by the Communications Department of the GFA, said the Normalisation Committee explained that 100,000 cedis being 10 per cent of the amount, was to the lawyer contracted for to pusue the payment from Globacom Ghana.
