Stand-up comedian, musician and actor Funny Face has announced his comeback following months of battling mental disorder.
Real name Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, Funny Face suffered bouts of depression which kept him away from stage for months.
In an interview with Giovani on 3FM Drive, Funny Face thanked God he survived the episode and even news of his dad’s demise.
“It’s been an amazing journey. It’s been God’s grace and you know sometimes as humans God wants you to move to certain level you won’t listen. Then God will bring you back and break you and mould you again.
“That is what happened, so we are back again to God’s glory.”
He said he has taken it upon himself to now educate the youth on depression and its effects, especially having personally gone through it.
“I educate people about it.”
