Mr. Agorhom specifically mentioned the government’s flagship policy Free Senior High School policy as that which benefits the NDC more. “Policy like the free SHS is benefiting NDC than all because they are in opposition”, the regional chairman told Bright Kwasi Asempa Tuesday on the Onua FM’s morning show, Yen Sempa. He explained members of the NDC would have had to pay Senior High School fees for people who would have come for help but with the intervention of the Free Senior High School policy, that burden is eliminated. “Now people would have been queuing in their various homes for fees from them [NDC members] to pay their fees”, he said in twi. He added that the government takes credit in the fact that it has put in place a policy which has alleviated the demand for school fees on the NDC members. Mr. Otoo Agorhom admitted the policy implementation is currently facing some challenges but remained hopeful that those challenges will be solved soon. “Yes, challenges are there alright, but it is good and we shall resolve it”, he said.
