Four Chinese nationals aged between 38 and 55 have been arrested for the possession of stolen wire cables at Nsawam Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region.
The arrest was made by operatives of the National Security on Thursday, July 8 after a tip-off.
Thirty bundles of electricity cables and some other cables of about two bundles with the seal of Ministry of Energy were found with the Chinese nationals at CK Aluminum Limited located at Nsawam Adoagyiri.
The four have been handed over to the Eastern Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service for detention and to assist in investigations.
The items are with the Eastern Regional Police Command for evidential purposes as investigations continue.
