Five players who could rescue Ghana's 2018 World Cup hopes

black-starsGhana’s chances of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup was threatened last week following the Black Stars’ 2-0 defeat to Egypt in Alexandria.
The result has left the Black Stars six points behind the Pharaohs of Egypt who are currently leading the group having won their two games.
Many have questioned the calibre of players currently being used the qualifiers. has consequently named five Ghanaian internationals who could help put the country’s quest for a fourth straight World Cup appearance on track.
Kevin Prince-Boatengkevin-prince-boatengThe 29-year-old Las Palmas attacker is probably one of the most in form Ghanaian pros right now and has perhaps proven why should he should be reconsidered for Black Stars selection. Capped 15 times already by Ghana and featured at both 2010 and 2014 WCs prior to a fallout with then coach Kwesi Appiah. Boateng definitely has the mettle that Avram Grant will require from his players heading to the must-win final four matches of their qualifying campaign.
