Mobile Money vendor killed in Okorase, E/R

A Mobile Money vendor and teacher of Besease Basic School, Solomon Arhin, has been shot to death at Okorase in the Eastern Region.

The incident occurred on Saturday, June 19 at 1114GMT.

Police findings indicate that a resident heard gun shot on a feeder road behind his house. Few minutes later, he saw the victim run to his house with shouts of help.

He met the 36-year-old Solomon Arhin in a pool of blood in the middle of his house.

Police found the victim lying in a supine position in a pool of blood wearing black short and white shirt when they visited the scene.

Gunshot wounds were found on his chest after inspection of the body by the police.

The sum of GH¢8,290.30, a laptop, five mobile phones, cheque book, and other documents were found in the victims two black backpack.

The body has since been deposited at the St Joseph Hospital, Koforidua for autopsy and preservation.
