Asante Professionals Club welcomes selection of Matthew Opoku Prempeh as Bawumia’s running mate

Asante Professionals Club (APC), a group of professionals from the Asante Kingdom have welcome the news of the selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as running mate for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 presidential elections.

The Asante Professionals Club in a statement, stated that they are thrilled to celebrate their esteemed member, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, on his nomination and subsequent confirmation as the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate.

“As a club that boasts some of the best professionals of Asanteman in all spheres of professional life, Dr. Prempeh’s nomination comes as no surprise. His dedication to excellence aligns perfectly with our club’s mission to serve our communities,” the statement indicated.

It added that, “This appointment is a well-deserved recognition of Dr. Prempeh’s unwavering dedication to the Asante Professionals Club, his distinguished service as a Member of Parliament and Minister of State, and his remarkable achievements in both politics and social life. Members of the Asante Professionals Club strive to do our best in our chosen professions for the betterment of our society and country as a whole, and we see Dr. Prempeh’s commitment to public service mirroring that ideal.”
