Madam Dorcas Affio-Toffey, mother of musician Fantana, has won the Jomoro parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region.
Madam Dorcas Affo-Toffey won the seat against the New Patriotic Party’s Paul Essien.
Dorcas Affio-Toffey is an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. She is the mother of Fantana, a musician in Ghana, and Lynelle Koffi, a Medical doctor in the USA.
From 2002 to present, she had established and managed several companies in Atlanta, Georgia in USA.
Affo-Toffey returned to Ghana in 2012 to continue her businesses, one of which is Nano Fix IT company, which she heads as Chief Executive Officer, and Sabastian Closet Inc, for whom she is the Country Representative.
Prior to the 2020 election, she donated 50 bags of cement to the Mbem community.
