Multiple award-winning rapper and Afrobeat singer EL is here again with his yearly BAR series to excite his fans for the festive seasons and beyond.

Known in real life as Elom Adablah, EL, after releasing BAR 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, he has released his latest series titled BAR 6.
BAR, which means ‘Best African Rapper’ is an annual album the rapper drops every year to promote young rappers doing well in the music space.

In an interview on TV3 New Day, EL revealed that BAR 6 is a precursor to a big project he is working on, which will soon be out.
The musician, who has been overseas for a few months, revealed that the latest series was recorded to portray the country from a foreign perspective.

“Bar 6 was recorded in the basement of my house. So it is like I am looking at the country from a foreign perspective. I do not have too many expectations on its growth because I know hip hop has a smaller genre here in Ghana.”

The much anticipated 15 track album features Tulenkey, Joey B, Lyrical Joe, Gambo and others. EL described this set as his favourite rapper in the country.
He said people were already hopping and jamming to the songs in the album, and it is an exciting feeling.

“People really love it, and it’s humbling. It features Joey B, Tulenkey among others, because those are some of my favourite rappers in the country.”

The musician has returned to Ghana ahead of the BAR concert, which will come off on December 18 this year.

“I do a concert every year. I like to do things at my own pace. I am going to have a concert on December 18 at the Coco vanilla in Accra, and It is going to be another jam session,” he said.

He is expected to be performing mind-blowing and intriguing songs off BAR 6 to excite patrons of the concert.
BAR 6 has songs like ‘Dracula’, ‘Rowdy’, ‘Different’, ‘On God’, ‘This Country’, ‘Time’ among others and is available on all music streaming platforms.
