The Electoral Commission of Ghana will on Sunday, November 22 declare the results of the presidential primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), a statement has said.

The party went to the polls on Saturday to elect its presidential and parliamentary candidates for next year’s elections.

Full results of the primaries are expected by close of day Sunday, following the postponement of the exercise in some constituencies.

The declaration will take place at the headoffice of the NDC in Adabraka, a suburb of Accra.

The statement signed by Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyidoho gave the time of the declaration as 7:00pm.

President John Dramani Mahama stood unopposed in the primaries. Results received so far indicate that he has a massive endorsement within the membership of the NDC.
