One of the Patrons of Dzodze Youth Club (DYC), Dr Donald Senanu Agumenu has over the weekend met Leadership of the Club to formally announce his decision to contest National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Primaries in Ketu North Constituency.

He explained that as a son of the land with great leadership potential, he saw it prudent to contest for the race that may eventually lead him to become a Member of Parliament for the area.

He highlighted the importance of politics in the development of every society and was confident becoming a leader in the political arena would give him more opportunities to continue his good works for the people.

The DYC led by its Chairman, Mr Atsu Avuglah, was appreciative of the support Dr Agumenu has extended to the club over the years and wished him the best in his new path to attaining his dream.

The Chairman stated that DYC is a social and philanthropic entity that focuses on helping its members and growing the town through respect to individuals’ political and religious affiliations. He, therefore, called on Dr Agumenu to ensure that his delegates and supporters carry out their campaigns with needed decorum without interfering with the apolitical system of the Club.

Also present at the meeting were the Communications Director, King Nobert Akpablie and the Organizer, Richard Selasi Ablorh.

Dr Agumenu thanked the leadership for the well wishes and promised to continue to work towards the growth of Dzodze and the Ketu North as a whole.
