The Independent Parliamentary candidate in the 2020 elections in the Bekwai Constituency, Akwasi Agyemang Amofa has dismissed reports indicating that he has thrown in the towel just a day to the general elections on Monday December 7.
Reports in a section of the Ghanaian media on Sunday December 6 listed him as one of the four independent parliamentary candidates in the Ashanti region who have stepped down.
However, a source closed to Mr Amofa has told 3news.com that the reports are inaccurate because he is still in the race.
Ghanaians go to the polls on Monday December 7 to elect a president and Members of Parliament.
