DCE nominee for Abura Asebu Kwamankese rejected

A total of 25 members voted for her rejection while one vote was counted as rejected by the Electoral Commission. The apparent disappointed Ms Hagan polled only 17 of the total 43 votes cast by the assembly members Friday morning, TV3’s Thomas Cann reported. Per the local government law, she is required to get two thirds of the vote cast to be confirmed as the District Chief Executive of the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District.
