Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey has suffered yet another injury following his second league appearance in the Premier League for Leicester City.
After spending almost two years on the sidelines due to an ankle injury, the center back was named in Bredan Rodgers’ starting XI for their game against West Ham United, following his display against Manchester City at the Etihad last week.
Amartey was subbed off at the 55th minute after he went down injured during a challenge.
He then limped off the pitch and was replaced by new signing Ünder Cengiz, who made his debut in the game.
The 25 year old’s last injury which kept him on the sidelines came against West Ham United in 2018.
