According to reports coming from the camp of Kumasi Asante Kotoko from their base in Omdurman, there is a rift between the playing body and management of the club over unpaid bonuses.
The reports state that the players are yet to receive their bonuses and per diems from the FC Nouadhibou game.
As a result of the misunderstanding, the players didn’t train for their crunch CAF Champions League game second leg tie against Al Hilal at the Hilal Sports Stadium in Omdurman on January 6.
The Porcupine Warriors lost the first leg by 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium and will have a herculean task ahead at Omdurman when they play as visitors to Al Hilal.
