CK Akunnor makes 5 changes ahead of Qatar clash

Coach of the Black Stars, C.K Akunnor has made five changes to the team that will face the Qataris in the second international friendly game.

Lawrence Ati Zigi’s dismal performance against Mali has given Razak Abalora a chance to play his first game with the National team. There is a huge alteration of the back line.

Benson Annang comes into the slot Tarique Fosu filled in the game against Mali, Alexander Djiku is back to his centre back role where he will partner Celta Vigo’s Joseph Aidoo. Gideon Mensah is still the team’s makeshift left back.

Baba Iddrisu comes into the squad at the expense of Bernard Mensah. Partey stays in the team with Andre and Jordan Ayew in a two prong attack.

The Qataris have played one game in 10 months prior to taking on the Black Stars this afternoon.
