Black Stars head coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor is not worried about the delay in his salary as his focus is to win games for the team.
There have been reports that the former Asante Kotoko head coach’s salary as the Black Stars technical head has delayed for sometime now.
Reacting to the reports, Akonnor revealed how passionate he is about the country of his birth and would consider results first before thinking about money.
“Of course, we all want to work and get paid on time. I’m a Ghanaian and I love my country.
I believe the money would come. What if I’m paid and the results don’t come? I’m focused on getting the results” he told Kessben FM.
Akonnor was appointed the head coach of the Black Stars on January 15, 2020 and has since played four games with two wins and two losses.
