Hayatspor report that Christian Atsu has survived after being rescued from the debris following the catastrophic earthquake in Turkey.

Christian Atsu and Hayatspor’s sporting director, Taner Savut, were trapped under rubble after the earthquake, and while Atsu was found alive after a lengthy search, Taner Savut has yet to be found.

“Christian Atsu has been removed injured. Unfortunately our sports director Taner Savut is still under the wreckage. We are coming towards the end of the most dangerous hours,” said the club’s press relations spokesperson Mustafa Ozat.
