For the 6th time in 2022, Chief One receives a major nomination at the Ghana Music Awards UK 2022. He has been nominated as a promising act in the “Uncovered Artiste Of The Year” category.
Chief One, enjoying a very good year, sky-rocketed to prominence in January with his viral song “Novayi”. He gained his first nomination at 3 Music Awards 2022, where he won the “Next Rated Act Of The Year”, powered by Infinix Ghana. He also grabbed nominations for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2022, Ghana Music Awards USA 2022, Ghana Entertainment Awards USA 2022 and Ghana Music Awards France, respectively.
His maiden EP, “Here I Come”, has scored over 1.5 million streams across major international audio digital streaming stores. He is best known for major hits like “Young Boy”, “Mekamo”, “Nyemedzio”, “Du Agbe” and his latest sensation, “Turn By Turn”.
Last weekend, he dropped the official video for “Turn By Turn”, which has over 20,000+ organic YouTube streams within a period of 48 hours.
