CHAN 2022: Ghana’s Daniel Laryea and Kwasi Brobbey on duty in opening match

Ghanaian duo Daniel Laryea and Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey have been assigned as part of the officiating team for the opening game of the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) between hosts Algeria and 2014 champions Libya.

The two North African nations will set the ball rolling on Friday evening at the Stade de Nelson Mandela.

The two Ghanaian officials will collaborate with 17 others in different roles to ensure accurate regulation of the match.

Ghana’s Kwasi Brobbey together with Angola’s Ivanildo Meirelles will support centre referee Abongile TOM as assistant referees while Daniel Laryea provides assistance to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) Mahmoud Ashorwill of Egypt.

The game kicks off at 7pm local time.
