Chamber of Bulk Oil Storage donates boom mics to Media General

The Chamber of Bulk Oil Storage has donated boom microphones to the Media General Group to help its journalists to adhere to social distancing protocols during interviews in the wake of the deadly novel coronavirus.

A lot has changed with the advent of Covid-19, and so has the work of journalists who have now adopted new ways of news gathering and reporting, including keeping a distance during interviews.

The Chamber said journalists being at the frontline of the pandemic coverage, ought to be protected against the virus hence the gesture to help in that direction.

Corporate Affairs Manager of the Chamber, Francisca Kakra Forson, presented the items to the Assignment Editor of the Media General newsroom, Bright Nana Amfoh and Head of the General News Desk, Thomas Adotei Pappoe.

Similar presentations have also been done at other media houses.
