Catholic bishops to help in fight against corruption

The Archbishop of Navrongo-Bolgatanga diocese, Most Reverend Alfred Agyenta, has pledged the Catholic Church of Ghana’s help in the fight against corruption.

According to Most Rev. Agyenta, they will help in the fight through evangelism and advocacy.

He made this pledge at the on-going Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference in Bolgatanga.

The Conference began on Monday, November 9 and it is expected to end Saturday, November 14.

The president of the Conference, Most Rev. Joseph Osei Bonsu called on politicians not to take politics as a do-or-die affair especially as the 2016 electioneering campaign heats up.

He said the Catholic Bishop will be monitoring with keen interest activities of political parties.
