Simon Madjie appointed acting CEO of GIPC.

Simon Madjie has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), replacing Dr. Bernice Makafui Brempong, who was named to the position just weeks ago.

Sources at the presidency say Dr. Brempong has now been reassigned to the Jubilee House, though the reason for her reassignment is not immediately known.

Simon Madjie is a seasoned investment promotion professional and lawyer with over ten years of experience in fostering trade partnerships between Ghana, Africa, and the United States.

He has been instrumental in business advocacy and managing the American Chamber of Commerce in Ghana (AMCHAM Ghana), as well as coordinating the AfCFTA Resource Center.

Madjie is also an Insolvency Practitioner and an Abshire-Inamori International Leadership Fellow.
