The director of Bureau of National Investigations, William Akwasi Appiah has reportedly been sacked.
His dismissal follows a meeting chaired by the National Security Minister Albert Kan Dapaah on Thursday March 29 at the Accra BNI office.
3news.com gathers a short meeting has been held at the BNI office to commission Ambassador Rashid Seidu Inusah as the new Director of BNI.
The reason for his dismissal our sources say “the fired officer failed to follow instructions” after the deputy general secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyidoho was granted bail.
The sacked BNI director, Akwasi Appiah was appointed in 2017 by the Akufo-Addo government after being identified as one of the longest serving officers in the BNI.
