Goals from Mohammed Kudus and Ibrahim Sadiq ensured that the Black Satellites booked a place in the final round of qualification for the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The Satellites had secured a goalless draw in the first leg and, so, booked a 2-0 aggregate win over their Algerian counterparts on Sunday.
The match was played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Ghana will next face Benin in the final round of qualifers.
The Beninois saw off The Gambia 3-2 on aggregate to qualify.
Ghana will host the first leg before travelling to Cotonou for the second leg, both to be played in July.
Seven sides are expected to clinch tickets to join hosts Niger for the 15th edition of the tournament.
