Ghana started the second half stronger after a dull first half that ended scoreless by scoring three goals thanks to Emmanuel Yeboah who came off the bench to score twice while setting up another for Ernest Nuamah to bury.
However, Ghana's complacency hunted them as the Congolese came through with two goals in injury time to reduce the margin.
Speaking ahead of Ghana's next game, Danlad revealed that the players regretted losing focus and are ready to redeem themselves against Morocco on Tuesday

“After the game against Congo, all the players were not happy because of what happened and it's normal. A lot of us have not got this kind of experience. I know what can come when you lose concentration at some point in a game,” he said.
“With the technical team, they will just bring everyone on board and know how to go in the next game.”
The Black Meteors lead Group A after a win in their first game, and their next match against Morocco is slated for Tuesday at 8 pm.
They still hold firm to their aim of making it to the next Olympic games by finishing in the top three of the AFCON.
