President Mahama also promised to construct a 7-kilometre road in the Berekum township to aid transportation of cocoa to the urban areas.

The president is in the Brong Ahafo Region for a two-day working tour.

He is expected to commission a number of water supply projects, health facilities and inspect major cocoa roads.
