Ayew scores stunning first goal for Al Sadd

Andre Ayew opened his goalscoring account for Al Sadd in sensational fashion as the club came from behind to beat Qatar SC on Thursday.

The Ghana captain’s stunning goal ensured that Al Sadd recorded a 3-1 win to maintain their 100 percent start to the new Qatar Stars League season.

Ayew’s goal which came in the 63rd minute cancelled out Sebastian Soria’s first half strike before Guilherme dos Santos Torres and Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah netted second and third respectively for Al Sadd.

Al Sadd are second after two games because they have picked up six points. Last weekend, they made a perfect start against Al-Sailiya. Ayew made his competitive debut in that match.

The 30-year-old signed for Qatari giants in July after refusing to sign a new contract at English championship club Swansea City.
