Ghanaian musician and songwriter Ayesem has expressed disappointment in colleague musician Sista Afia for her failure to acknowledge his efforts in her career.
The Hiphop/Hiplife artiste from Takoradi while in an interview on Takoradi-based Connect 97.1FM recalled how one time on UTV, Sista Afia feigned forgetfulness when she was asked about who helps her write her songs.
The ‘Koti’ hit maker explained that as a musician himself, a mention from Sista Afia is one he would have valued, especially considering that his services to her were almost free.
Some of the songs Ayesem has written for Sista Afia include her hit songs ‘Asuoden’, ‘Slay Queen’ and the rap lines she used while beefing rappers Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz.
“Next time if she wants to come to me, it will be strictly business,” he told host Ato Kwamina Otoo D’Gem.
Meanwhile, Ayesem will soon embark on a High School Tour to preach against premarital sex and teenage pregnancy.
Dubbed ‘Julie High School Tour’, the tour is hinged on his new release ‘Julie’.
Julie is based on a true life story of a teenage girl whose dreams and aspirations were cut short due to his indulgence in premarital sex and subsequently, pregnancy.
