Asomdwoe Park was dirty; it was a disgrace to the nation – Koku Anyidoho

The Founder and President of the Atta Mills Institute, Samuel Koku Anyidoho the Asomdwoe Park, burial place of the late Professor John Evans Atta Mills was a digrace to the nation, prior to its refurbishment.

Mr. Anyidoho at a point warned the brother of the late President who is also the Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem Constituency, Samuel Atta Mills and the former President John Dramani Mahama not to set foot at the Asomdwoe Park.

Speaking on 3FM Sunrise hosted by Alfred Ocansey on Monday, after he was asked why Mr. Mahama and the family of the late President also held another memorial service after the commissioning by President Akufo-Addo, Mr. Anyidoho explained that “I said the brother and Mahama shouldn’t go there [Asomdwoe Park] and I changed my mind.

“Its only fools who don’t change their minds”, he explained.

He alleged that “the media created that needless debate. You have enjoyed it. Asomdwoe Park was dirty. It was a disgrace to the nation so the President renovated the place to benefit the status. Let them [Mills Family] go and destroy Asomdwe Park. Because of the deep respect I have for the family, I will not mention names. This is the needless debate that the media has engaged in”.
