English Premier League giants Arsenal have outdoored Ghanaian international Thomas Teye Partey at the club’s facility in England.
The official announcement on Tuesday, October 13 comes days after the midfielder completed the move to the English side.
Partey arrived at the club on Tuesday after participating in two international friendlies for Ghana.
The Ghana international completed the move on deadline day when Arsenal invoked his €50 million release clause.
The midfielder has been handed the Number 18 shirt.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder made 188 appearances, in which time he won both the Europa League and Super Cup in 2018, and was a Champions League runner-up in 2016.
💬 “I was so happy, I was excited. I was not even here yet and they were crazy over me… I received a lot of messages saying ‘Join the club or we are not sleeping!’ – it was a great feeling.”
