The Alan 4 President (A4P) Campaign Team has served notice the former Minister of Trade and Industry will deliver a public broadcast on the way of his campaign this week.
According to a statement issued a day after he placed 3rd with 95 votes in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Super Delegates Conference, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen says he is currently analysing results.
Earlier in the statement, Mr Kyerematen expressed sorrow about the “brutal” assault on his Polling Agent in the North East Region.
Ali Zakaria was left with swollen eyes after he was allegedly attacked. He was treated and returned to the Nalerigu Senior High School, where the exercise was held.
The North East Region branch of party downplayed the incident, saying it was exaggerated.
But Mr Kyerematen says, “This is an indelible blot to the integrity of the internal democratic process within the NPP.”
He wished Mr Zakaria well, assuring him and his family of “my unwavering support for his well being”.
The former Ghana Ambassador to the US expressed appreciation to his family and delegates who voted for him as well as the other aspirants for a successful process.
