Akufo-Addo to address nation ahead of elections

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to address the nation in a televised broadcast tonight, December 6, 2020.

The address will border on the preparations of the country as eligible citizens head to the polls on Monday, December 7 to elect a new leader for another four-year term.

The election will be be the eighth successive exercise in the history of the country.

The address is at 8:00pm.

It is expected to be without any canvassing for votes as campaigns have been indefinitely suspended as per regulations of the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC).

The state broadcaster will carry it live and beam it to all other media stations across the country.
